ethan liang photography
Hello
It's so nice to meet you! My name is Ethan, your friendly neighborhood photographer. I'm the kind of person who often enjoys quiet moments, but once you bring up topics like coffee, photography, cats, or badminton I can’t seem to shut up. I loveeee (extra E’s to show you I mean it) traveling and exploring new places too.

My heart belongs to the art of creating – whether it's through a photo captured on camera or making content to teach others about my passion. For me, it's all about crafting those unforgettable moments and memories that make life rich and meaningful.
Enough about me though because here, the story about you.

I'm all about capturing the real you – your authenticity, your spirit, your vibe – and making you feel incredible while we're at it. Because let's face it, being in front of the camera can feel a bit nerve-wracking, but I'm here to change that. Whether it's just you or you and your loved ones, I'm all about capturing those genuine moments that tell your story.

So if you're in Toronto and you're ready to create some magic together, let's get in touch!
How it all Started
Growing up I’ve always loved drawing, often being known as "the art kid" in school. Every once in a while I would pick up a paintbrush and paint landscape scenes. In complete honesty, I wasn't exceptionally good but I loved it.
Then, on a trip back to my home country in 2018, my family there owned a point-and-shoot camera. I used that little camera pretty much everywhere I went throughout that trip. I captured vast mountains, old buildings, my family and anything that caught my eye.
Skip to 2019 where I took up photography as one of my new hobbies. I decided to save up and buy my first camera. Making that decision was one of the most impactful choices I've ever made. It led me to discover a passion that introduced me to new friends and allowed me to experience things I never even imagined.

Now, I am a dedicated portrait photographer, hoping that through my photography, I can highlight the depth and uniqueness of each individual I photograph.
